Celebrity Traffic Jam as Rihanna, Anya Taylor-Joy, Cynthia Erivo and Rosalía Storm the Front Row In Paris Fashion Week

Celebrity: Paris Fashion Week has once again demonstrated that getting through the streets of Paris may be easier than getting past a Dior front-row photographer. Anya Taylor-Joy, Rihanna, Cynthia Erivo, Rosalía and other major stars gathered for Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer 2027 show on September 29, turning the fashion presentation into a celebrity spectacle almost capable of competing with the clothes themselves. The official Paris Fashion Week calendar lists Dior’s show for September 29, while Dior itself scheduled its Summer 2027 women’s show for the same day.

Celebrity Roll Call Meets Fashion

The Dior show, staged around the Tuileries gardens, was presented by creative director Jonathan Anderson, who is marking roughly a year since taking charge of Dior womenswear. His latest collection mixed romantic references with contemporary streetwear, including sheer fabrics, metallic trousers, tailored jackets, feathered textures and reworked Dior signatures.

But while Anderson was busy making fashion history on the runway, the front row appeared determined to create its own entertainment programme. Rosalía, Anya Taylor-Joy and other high-profile guests drew attention as cameras competed for evidence that Paris had once again become the unofficial headquarters of celebrity fashion. Rihanna had already made headlines at Paris Fashion Week with a dramatic look while attending another show on September 28.

Dior Front Row Becomes the Real Runway For Celebrity

For fashion watchers, the appearance of major stars at Dior is hardly accidental. Anya Taylor-Joy has repeatedly attended Dior shows and has developed a visible relationship with the house’s fashion world, while Rosalía has also become closely associated with Dior appearances. Their presence adds another layer of celebrity attention to a show already designed to command global fashion coverage.

The satirical complication, of course, is that the audience may now need a programme to determine whether it is watching a fashion show or a celebrity convention where the clothes happen to be walking around. With Anderson’s collection combining classic Dior references with unexpected contemporary touches, the runway had plenty to discuss—and with Rihanna, Taylor-Joy, Erivo, Rosalía and other stars in attendance, the front row had plenty to photograph. Dior’s Paris spectacle therefore delivered what Fashion Week has perfected: clothes on the runway, celebrities in the seats and enough cameras to make everybody look like they are starring in something important.

Buzz Legit FC will continue watching the Paris Fashion Week celebrity parade as Dior’s latest collection and its star-studded guest list generate more reactions, fashion commentary and social-media conversation; readers should watch out for future updates as the Paris fashion spectacle continues.
