Katelyn Larson has drawn a firm line with fans of Heated Rivalry after saying some have taken their curiosity about Hudson Williams and their relationship into her workplace. The Vancouver-based tattoo artist addressed the issue in an Instagram Story on September 22, explaining that while she understands some people discovered her studio because of the hit series, certain behavior has become uncomfortable for her and her coworkers.

Larson said she has no problem with people discovering her studio through Heated Rivalry or following the artists because they genuinely enjoy their work. However, she objected to people booking appointments with her or other artists purely because of the show’s connection to Hudson Williams.
The bigger problem, according to Larson, comes when people arrive for appointments and begin asking her coworkers personal questions about herself or Hudson. She described that behavior as hugely uncomfortable and directly asked those coming solely because of the Hudson connection to stop.
Her comments come as Heated Rivalry has transformed Williams and co-star Connor Storrie into internationally recognized young stars. The attention has also spilled into the actors’ private lives, with Williams previously speaking about his desire for privacy and the public attention surrounding his personal life.

Katelyn Larson has largely stayed outside the entertainment industry while dating Williams, working professionally as a tattoo artist. The couple reportedly began dating years before Heated Rivalry premiered, and Williams made their relationship public in February 2026. They later made their first red-carpet appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.
Williams has also made it clear that Larson is not particularly interested in the spotlight. In March, he explained that she was not trying to be publicly perceived, even as fans became increasingly interested in their relationship. He later posted an affectionate birthday tribute to Larson in August, writing that he would love her until he died.
The couple’s experience reflects a wider tension surrounding the rapid rise of Heated Rivalry. Williams has already faced a separate privacy confrontation after autograph seekers followed him to a private residence in Paris, while the show’s cast and creators have previously spoken out against invasive and parasocial fan behavior.
For Larson, however, the latest issue is much more straightforward: fans are welcome to appreciate the art and support the tattoo studio, but personal questions about her relationship with Hudson Williams do not belong in a professional appointment.
