Kylie Jenner Gives Fans a Tour of Her Six-Year Dream Mansion, Where Even the Walls Are Still Waiting for Their Big Break

Kylie Jenner has finally allowed fans behind the gates of her long-running Hidden Hills construction project, offering a rare glimpse at the lavish Italian-inspired mansion she has been developing since purchasing the five-acre property for about $15 million in 2020. Six years later, the house is still under construction — proving that in celebrity real estate, “almost finished” can apparently be a lifestyle rather than a deadline.

Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Her Long-Running Mansion Project

In a recent YouTube vlog, Jenner walked viewers around the property and showed off reclaimed cobblestone, landscaping, olive trees, stone flooring, wood finishes, fireplaces and marble details. She also revealed that some important design decisions are still being made, including choices involving plaster colours and cabinetry.

The unfinished state of the mansion provided perhaps the most relatable moment of the tour. While ordinary homeowners may debate whether to repaint one bedroom, Jenner is apparently deciding the fate of an enormous estate where a sports court has yet to discover which sport it will host. The outdoor entertainment area is also still waiting to transform from construction-zone dirt into the glamorous gathering space promised by the final vision.

Kylie Jenner’s Dream Home Is Taking So Long, Even the Walls Need Patience

The property is being designed with an unmistakably grand vision, including a future gym and spa, outdoor dining area, fountain, pizza oven, rose garden and sports facilities. Reports have also described the broader estate as including extensive luxury amenities, making it less “house” and more “small private resort that happens to have a kitchen.”

Adding a personal touch to the project, some of the olive trees came from Jenner’s sister Kendall Jenner. Kylie has previously kept much of the construction process private, but explained that she decided to document the project after details had already circulated publicly. Her latest tour therefore turns a famously prolonged building project into something of a celebrity home renovation series — except the renovation has lasted long enough to qualify for its own historical archive.

For now, Jenner appears enthusiastic about the progress and eager to eventually move into the finished property. The bigger question is no longer whether the mansion will be luxurious — that part is virtually guaranteed — but when the construction crew will finally be able to say, with confidence, “Kylie, this one is actually finished.” Buzz Legit FC will be watching for the next update, because at this point even the mansion’s grand opening deserves a countdown.
