E. Jean Carroll Publicly Humiliates President Trump, Reveals Disturbing Courtroom Behavior and “Disgusting” Odor During Defamation Trial

E. Jean Carroll publicly humiliated Donald Trump by revealing that his bizarre courtroom behavior and “disgusting” body odor left the jury both appalled and captivated during the defamation trial that ultimately awarded her $83.3 million in damages.

In a candid interview on The Daily Beast podcast, Carroll described how the current U.S. president, serving his second term, appeared erratic and unrestrained throughout the proceedings. “I don’t understand how people can be afraid of a fat, elderly man who wears apricot makeup, his hair done up like Tippi Hedren in The Birds, and sits in a courtroom and moans and groans and complains and snorts,” she said. “They were mesmerized. You have never seen anything like it.”

Carroll detailed that Trump frequently muttered audibly within earshot of the jury, often belittling his own attorney, Alina Habba. “He didn’t smell so good,” she added. According to her account, his erratic demeanor and lack of composure stood in stark contrast to the calm professionalism of her legal team, led by attorney Roberta “Robbie” Kaplan.

Revealing His Disgusting Body Odor and Behavior in Court

Carroll continued to reveal how the president’s demeanor shifted as Kaplan presented closing arguments to the jury. “He stood up with steam coming off his back and hot air blowing out his ears because Robbie Kaplan was giving the final argument,” Carroll recounted. “She asked the jury how much it would take to make him stop. He stood up and stormed out.”

“When a man is innocent, he doesn’t storm out of a courtroom; he stays and fights,” she said. “He turned tail and stormed out of the courtroom. He couldn’t have looked more guilty.”

Carroll’s statements painted a portrait of a president visibly rattled by the proceedings and seemingly unable to control his emotions under pressure. Despite his visible irritation and interruptions, the jury sided decisively with Carroll after reviewing the evidence. The verdict—an $83.3 million award—was viewed by many as a symbolic victory for women’s rights and accountability at the highest levels of power.

Revealing His Disgusting Body Odor and the Moment of Victory

Carroll reflected on the defining moment the verdict was read, recalling how the clerk, judge, and jury reacted to the historic judgment. “The clerk opens it up, reads it, frowns, shakes his head, folds it back up, and then hands it to Judge Kaplan,” she said. “Judge Kaplan opens it up, and his eyebrows rise up towards his hairline, and he says, ‘Madame forewoman, what does the M stand for?’”

“The forewoman explained that ‘M’ stood for ‘million.’ That was the moment,” Carroll continued. “I felt like Peter Pan who flies around the ceilings. And quite frankly, I’ve never come down from that. That win was so enormous and so powerful—not for me, not for Robbie, but for everyone in the country who had sort of lost hope that he could ever be beaten.”

Carroll emphasized that the verdict represented more than personal vindication—it was a message that the powerful can indeed be held accountable. “We’ve proved—Robbie proved, and I proved—that Trump can be beaten,” she said. “He can be beaten.”
